Verner Panton was a pioneer in visually immersive environments, decorated with op art patterns saturated with vivid colours. One of Denmark's most avant-garde designers, Panton played with geometric forms while experimenting with plastic to create curvaceous shapes previously impossible. A forward-thinking designer awarded the Knight's Cross of the Dannebrog Order by the Queen of Denmark.
